This policy explains what data Convat (“we”, “us”) collects when you use our app, website and conversion services, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have. Convat is interoperability software: we move betting-slip data between third-party platforms at your request. We never accept wagers and we do not hold gambling funds.
Information we collect
- Account details: your email address, name and authentication identifiers. We support email one-time-code sign-in and Google or Apple sign-in.
- Profile data: your display name and, if you add one, a profile picture.
- Slip and booking data: the booking codes and selections you submit so we can convert, split, merge, analyse or publish them to the Code Hub at your request.
- Wallet and payment data: subscription status, wallet balance, top-up and transaction records, referral and commission balances, withdrawal requests, and the bank or crypto-wallet details you provide for payouts. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Support data: the messages and attachments you send through support, contact, careers or press forms.
- Device, network and usage data: device type, app version, a device identifier, push-notification token, IP address, approximate location derived from your IP, sign-in events and in-app interaction logs. We use these to run the service, enforce the per-account device limit and prevent abuse.
How we use your data
- To perform conversions, splits, merges, SureBets scans and the other tools you request.
- To maintain your account, subscriptions, wallet, referral rewards and withdrawals.
- To send you transactional email and, with your permission, push notifications and product updates you can switch off.
- To keep the service secure, enforce device limits, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Service providers we share data with
We share the minimum data needed with the providers that help us operate Convat. Each acts under a contract that requires it to protect your data and use it only for our instructions.
- Supabase for authentication, database and file storage.
- Vercel and Render for website, dashboard and backend hosting.
- Cloudflare for network delivery and to reach sports-data sources.
- Paystack (web checkout) and RevenueCat with the app store (in-app subscriptions) to process payments. For crypto top-ups we review proofs manually.
- Resend to deliver transactional email.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications.
- Public sports and bookmaker data sources, used to read fixtures, odds and settle results. We send these your slip selections, never your identity.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not place bets for you. We do not share your slips or personal data with anyone other than the providers above, except where you ask us to or the law requires it.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and financial-record requirements. You can delete your account at any time from the app, which removes your personal data subject to limited records we must keep by law, such as payment and payout history. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may access, correct, export or delete your personal data and object to certain processing. You can delete your account in the app, or email us to exercise any of these rights. We will verify your request and respond.
